Grocery Merchandiser

Overview of the Role

The Grocery Merchandiser will properly manage their assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks. They will have the ability to take pictures and complete reporting requirements with the technology provided. The position is full time (37.5-40 hours a week) and located in San Jose, CA within a 40–60 mile radius. Compensation is $23 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and skills.

• Sell, merchandize, and maintain product distribution within assigned accounts.
• Ensure client products are well stocked, order product when stock is low or out.
• Conduct audits at grocery stores and verify accurate product representation on shelves.
• Use mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication.
• Switch between stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams throughout the day.
• Lift, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods; carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work independently, follow directions, and maintain excellent communication skills.
• Maintain a professional appearance, adhere to dress code and attendance guidelines.
• Attend client kickoff video calls and team check‑ins as required.
• Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Proof of automobile insurance.
• Reliable phone (5 years or newer) and internet service for daily communication.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently.
• Previous retail, sales, or merchandising experience is a plus (but not required).

• Paid drive time at $0.70 per mile.
