Experienced Floral Designer

Queen Bee Flowers is looking for a creative individual with a strong work ethic to join our team. Queen Bee Flower Shop is a luxury florist located on South Granville. Our aesthetic is inspired by the natural beauty of garden-inspired seasonal flowers. We take pride in our quality of locally sourced flowers and plants.

We are seeking an EXPERIENCED Floral Designer that is very passionate about their work, highly motivated and enthusiastic. Candidate must have at least 3 years of retail floral design experience. The position includes all aspects of a busy, full-service retail florist providing beautiful bouquets and custom floral designs on demand. Conditioning and prepping flowers. Processing plants and merchandising displays. Taking phone orders.

Candidate must be accustomed to putting together artistic flowers on demand with proper knowledge of floral mechanics and be familiar with flower processing techniques. Looking for a professional Florist who is team oriented with an upbeat and positive personality and works well under pressure. Someone that performs as a strong 1st charge manager when the floor owner is unavailable.

Requirements:
Ability to multitask and prioritize, comfortable with lifting 50lbs, minimum 3 years in previous retail flower shop, positive attitude, strong communication skills, able to identify flowers and plants and knowledgeable
of their care.

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
