BETA5 makes chocolate by hand in Vancouver, and the holidays are our busiest time of year. This season we’re opening a pop-up at Holt Renfrew Vancouver alongside our flagship shop, and we’re looking for a few warm, reliable people to help customers find the perfect gift.
What you’ll do
- Welcome customers and help them choose, whether they’re picking a single bar or building a corporate gift order
- Learn our collections well enough to talk about flavours, ingredients and pairings with confidence
- Process sales on our POS (we’re fully cashless)
- Keep displays stocked, clean and looking their best
- Help pack and prepare product for retail and online orders, especially in November
Where and when
- Shifts at our flagship (Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm) and our Holt Renfrew pop-up (daily, afternoon shifts until 6pm)
- Some weekday daytime packaging shifts in November
- 12 to 24 hours per week
- Paid training October 27 to 31, with shifts running through December 31
- Weekend availability is a big plus
You might be a fit if you
- Have retail, café, restaurant or other customer-facing experience
- Like talking to people and genuinely enjoy helping them
- Show up when you say you will, especially when it’s busy
- Are curious about food and happy to learn the details
- Are comfortable on your feet for a full shift
