Group Sales Manager Hotel

Drive group room and banquet revenue in Vancouver through client development, account management, and strategic hotel sales activities. Build repeat business with small groups of 40 rooms or fewer.

As Group Sales Manager, you will manage assigned market segments while collaborating with Sales and Marketing leadership and Revenue Management. Your work spans proposals, contracts, group production, booking pace, pricing, promotions, distribution channels, and client satisfaction. You will support the Sales Department’s performance and profitability through disciplined follow-up and reporting.

• Solicit group business through sales calls, market visits, and trade shows
• Develop client relationships and pursue emerging leisure market opportunities
• Manage inquiries, proposals, contracts, and account follow-up
• Negotiate group contracts alongside Revenue Management
• Monitor production, pickup, pace, commissions, and reporting

• Three years’ Sales Manager experience managing group business
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant education and experience
• Knowledge of the Vancouver, British Columbia market preferred
• Strong communication, organization, judgment, and hospitality systems knowledge
• Fluent English and legal eligibility to work in Canada
