Drive Mining Growth Across Western & Northern Canada | Manager, Business Development (Mining) | $150K-$180K Base Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Business Development Manager (Mining) in the Mining / Civil Construction / Industrial Services in Vancouver, British Columbia. Join a leading Western Canadian civil construction and industrial services organization as a Manager, Business Development (Mining). This strategic role focuses on building and converting mining opportunities across British Columbia, Yukon, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and beyond.
Leverage your industry network, develop long-term client relationships, and position solutions throughout the mine lifecycle, from development and operations to closure and reclamation. Total rewards:$150000.00 - $180000.00 annually
Lead mining growth initiatives across Canada's key resource regions
Influence strategic business development decisions and market expansion
Build relationships with major mining owners, operators, and EPCM firms
Represent a well-established civil construction and industrial services provider
Work with experienced operations, estimating, and project delivery teams
Engage with diverse projects across mine development, infrastructure, and reclamation
Travel to mining operations and communities across Western and Northern Canada

Responsibilities- Develop and execute business development strategies for mining markets across Western and Northern Canada
- Identify opportunities in mine development, sustaining capital, site services, and closure projects
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline of civil, earthworks, and mining opportunities
- Establish relationships with mine owners, operators, developers, engineering firms, and EPCMs
- Position the organization early in project life cycles ahead of formal procurement processes
- Lead pursuits involving earthworks, mine civil, tailings, water management, and reclamation services
- Collaborate with Indigenous communities and partnership stakeholders near project sites
- Support proposals, negotiations, forecasting, opportunity assessments, and CRM reporting
- Bring 7+ years of business development, commercial leadership, or project development experience
- Possess 5+ years of direct mining or mine-site contracting experience
- Demonstrate an established network across mining companies and engineering firms in Western and Northern Canada
- Show success developing and converting multi-discipline civil and mining opportunity pipelines
- Understand mine development, permitting, construction, operations, and closure processes
- Apply knowledge of civil construction, earthworks, tailings, water management, or reclamation projects
- Collaborate effectively with estimating, operations, project delivery, and executive leadership teams
- Hold a degree or diploma in business, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline preferred
