Security Guard Part Time Secret Clearance

Commissionaires BC is hiring for security professionals to work at a high security government site in downtown Vancouver.

Shift times:

• Full Time (Monday to Friday):
  • Mornings (0800 - 1600), Afternoons/Evenings (1600 - 0000), & Overnights (0000 - 0800)
• Weekends (Saturday & Sunday):
  • Mornings (0800 - 1600), Afternoons/Evenings (1600 - 0000), & Overnights (0000 - 0800)

• From $21.67 per hour

Due to the nature of the site, you will be required to obtain a Secret Clearance from the Canadian Government.

Your Must Haves …

• Valid BC Security License
• Eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Have lived in Canada for a minimum of 10 years
  • Able to provide address and employment history for the last 10 years with no unexplained gaps
  • Hold Canadian citizenship or PR
• Basic First Aid/OFA 1
• Excellent English oral and written skills
• Strong administrativeskills

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Provide first class customer service to contractors and clients whilst based at front desk
• Access control
• Contractor escorting
• Interior patrols
• First responder in building emergencies such as evacuations and medical emergencies
• Following specific emergency and alarm response protocols.
