Scarlet Security & Risk Group (SSRG) is seeking Full-time Security Officer / Investigators to support client accounts across the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. Successful applicants will be responsible for protecting people, property, and information through patrols, investigations, access control, incident response, and reporting, in accordance with applicable legislation, SSRG standards and client requirements.

Responsibilities
- Maintaining excellent customer service with clients, visitors, and team members
- Controlling access to facilities, issuing passes, and directing visitors
- Conducting mobile, vehicle, building, and foot patrols
- Monitoring site activities and identifying suspicious behavior or security risks
- Responding to alarms, incidents, and emergencies as required
- Conducting investigations and preparing detailed written reports and notes
- Maintaining accurate records of security-related activities (written and electronic)
- Operating surveillance and security control-room equipment
- Enforcing site regulations in accordance with SSRG Site Manuals and client instructions
- Providing added value and professionalism in all interactions
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid BC Security Worker License, preferred with AST
- Valid BC Private Investigator License or PI Under Supervision License
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
- Strong investigative skills based on formal training
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical fitness
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
- Experience with CCTV and surveillance systems (preferred)
- Previous investigative, mobile patrol, or site security experience (preferred)
- Preference given to former law enforcement
Additional Information
- Work area primarily within the Lower Mainland, BC
- Travel to different sites may be required
- Shift schedules and hours may vary based on operational needs
- Overtime may be required with prior approval
