Be where the action is! Guardteck Security is hiring Casual Event Security Guards to protect the biggest sports games, concerts, and cultural happenings across Vancouver. If you're looking for dynamic work where every shift brings something new—from global sporting events to sold-out shows—this is your opportunity to join our team.

• Provide crowd control and guest management at large-scale events.
• Manage access control at entrances, exits, and restricted areas.
• Conduct bag checks, screening, and enforce prohibited-item policies.
• Monitor guest behavior and de‑escalate conflicts professionally.
• Assist with emergency response, evacuations, and medical incidents.
• Patrol assigned zones to identify safety risks or suspicious activity.
• Deliver excellent customer service and assist event attendees.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.
• Complete incident reports when required.
• Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and venue staff.

• Valid Basic Security Training (BST) License required.
• 6+ months of security experience is an asset.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Availability for mornings, afternoons, evenings, and late nights.
• Comfortable standing or walking for 8–12 hours.
• Customer service or hospitality experience is an asset.
• OFA Level 1 or equivalent first aid certification is an asset.
• Ability to commute to various event sites across Vancouver.
• Strong communication and conflict de‑escalation skills.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow company and venue policies.
• Large crowds and unpredictable situations.
• Indoor and outdoor posts in varying weather conditions.

• Work at major venues including BC Place and Global Sporting event locations.
• Be part of concerts, sporting events, and other high-profile experiences.
