Security Guard Luxury Retail

We are looking for a guard to work full time at a high end retail location (MAC Cosmetics) in Vancouver.

Permanent shifts: Friday & Saturday 10am till 9pm plus Sunday 10am till 7pm (31 hours)
$24/hour plus OT pay

Please note - this site will require you to be up on your feet for the duration of the shift

• Provide first class customer service to all visitors/staff
• Maintain close observation of site, ensuring no loss of merchandise
• Crowd management
• Responding to potential protesters or media
• Ensure detailed and clear documentation of any incidents, working with law enforcement as necessary
• First responder in building emergencies such as evacuations and medical emergencies
• Following specific emergency and alarm response protocols.

• Valid BC Security License
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certificate
• Excellent English oral and written skills
• Proven customer service experience, ideally in a retail environment

• Demonstrated interest and experience in serving the public
• Positive and professional attitude, with strong customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner
• Excellent multi-tasking, prioritizing, and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
