Asset Protection and Compliance Officer

Ensure asset security and support operational compliance as an Asset Protection Officer. Focus on theft prevention, fraud mitigation, and safety adherence within retail settings.

Your role involves actively mitigating losses caused by theft and fraud while upholding safety and environmental standards. Collaboration with store management is key to developing a proactive stance on shrink reduction. Responsibilities include conducting physical security checks and detaining shoplifters within legal parameters, while also engaging with law enforcement as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with management on security investigations

• Detain suspected shoplifters appropriately

• Execute safety compliance measures effectively

• Regularly assess store physical security

• Document incidents and liaise with law enforcement

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year in retail loss prevention preferred

• High School Diploma or GED essential

• Required security or investigator certification

• Access to a vehicle for inter-store travel

• Bilingual (French) proficiency is a plus
