Your role will involve daily patrols, incident reporting, and emergency response.
This position requires a BC Basic Security License and experience in public service. As a professional Security Officer, you will enforce resident curfews, conduct daily counts, and maintain detailed logs while ensuring a secure environment. Practicing first aid and effective communication is essential in your responsibilities to support residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough interior patrols and daily resident counts
• Maintain visitor logs and incident reports accurately
• Enforce resident curfews to ensure safety
• Respond promptly to emergencies and conflicts
• Provide appropriate first aid assistance when needed
Requirements:
• Valid BC Basic Security License required
• Must have resided in Canada for 5 years
• OFA 1 Certificate is necessary
