This role offers a unique opportunity to help clients while ensuring facility safety and security.
This position encompasses two key roles at Vancouver Harbour Light—managing the front desk while overseeing client safety and security. You will directly interact with clients from various backgrounds, making it essential to document observations and monitor the facility via CCTV. Your efforts will support the mission of The Salvation Army to serve vulnerable populations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the first point of contact for clients
• Conduct regular safety rounds and inspections
• Coordinate responses to emergencies and alarms
• Document client activities and observations
• Provide first aid support as necessary
Requirements:
• High school education plus related courses
• One year of security experience
• Criminal Record Review clearance required
• Basic computer skills with MS Office
• Empathy for individuals facing challenges
