About The Role

As an Undercover Loss Prevention Officer with Securiguard, you'll step into a fast‑paced, investigative role where no two days are the same. This is not a static security position—you'll actively identify theft patterns, conduct surveillance, and play a key role in reducing retail loss. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are observant, proactive, and confident working independently while making real‑time decisions in dynamic environments.

• Conduct undercover surveillance to identify theft and high‑risk activity
• Monitor behavioural patterns and support loss prevention strategies
• Perform lawful apprehensions when required, in accordance with company policy and training
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports
• Work collaboratively with store teams and fellow security professionals
• Maintain awareness across multiple locations as operationally required
• Manage high‑pressure situations with professionalism and sound judgment

• Work in a specialized undercover environment, not a static guard position
• Build hands‑on experience in surveillance, investigations, and case development
• Exposure to multi‑site operations and diverse retail environments

• Valid BC Security Worker License and Advanced Security Training (AST)
• Minimum 2 years of security experience (retail or mall environment preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of undercover loss prevention experience is an asset
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 (OFA
  1) or equivalent is an asset
• Strong observation, communication, and report‑writing skills
• Ability to remain composed and professional in high‑pressure situations
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel between locations as needed
• Basic knowledge of applicable legislation (Criminal Code, Charter, Trespass Act) is an asset

Salary: $23.50 per hour
