Join Guardteck as a Security Officer to ensure safety and compliance across various locations in British Columbia. Utilize your skills in emergency response and access control to protect communities and patrons.
This role requires professionalism and at least one year of prior security experience. As a Security Officer, your responsibilities will include maintaining property standards, enforcing regulations, and conducting regular foot patrols. You will play an essential role in incident investigations and will support emergency personnel as needed while managing access control procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce property rules and standards effectively
• Respond to medical emergencies with First Aid and CPR
• Conduct foot patrols regularly across assigned areas
• Prepare detailed incident reports and memo logs
• De-escalate crisis situations professionally
Requirements:
• Valid BC Security license and OFA 1 certification
• Minimum 1 year of prior security experience
• Strong communication skills in English
• Proactive approach to onsite situations
• Ability to handle stress in dynamic environments
