Security Professional Public Library

As a Security Professional, you'll oversee access control, perform regular patrols, and monitor CCTV systems. This role fosters a professional environment where you will engage with Vancouver’s community, especially its vulnerable populations. Your skills in conflict resolution and incident reporting will be key to enhancing safety and security throughout the library.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions

• Manage access control to ensure a secure environment

• Conduct regular patrols to deter crime and ensure safety

• Monitor CCTV feeds to respond to incidents

• Prepare detailed reports on activities and safety concerns

Requirements:

• Valid BC Security License (BST)

• 3+ years of security experience

• 1+ year of customer service experience

• Occupational First Aid Level 2 preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
