UBC Security Patrol Officer Position

As a Patrol Officer II for UBC, you play a key role in ensuring the safety of the campus community. Your responsibilities include conducting patrols, responding to emergencies, and administering first aid within your training scope. The position requires effective communication skills and a commitment to fostering a positive, secure environment for students and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform regular campus patrols on various vehicles
• Respond to and manage First Aid incidents
• Document and report on security-related incidents
• Assist law enforcement and community members
• Maintain operational readiness of security equipment
Requirements:
• High School diploma and Level 2 Occupational First Aid
• BC Class 5 Driver's License and security experience
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including shifts
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion
