Position: Security Guard with BST Certification
Start your career in security with Paladin’s free Basic Security Training certification. Enjoy a full-time position with a pay rate from $18.75/hr to $23/hr as you protect various facilities.

Paladin is excited to provide opportunities for candidates without a BC Security License who are ready to commit to at least six months of full-time work. Training takes place over one week in our Burnaby office, equipping you for roles in hospitals, shopping centers, and high-profile events. Join us to develop your skills and serve your community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine foot patrols of assigned locations

• Effectively de-escalate conflicts and security incidents

• Respond to alarms and manage emergency situations

• Control access to secure facilities and monitor visitors

• Document incidents with detailed reports

Requirements:

• Open to train for a BC Security License

• Strong customer service and problem-solving strengths

• Confident communication skills in English, both written and verbal

• Ability to stand/patrol for extended periods

• Commitment to at least six months of full-time employment
