In this role, you’ll manage the security operations of the Vancouver Convention Centre, ensuring the safety of guests and staff. Your work will encompass monitoring alarms, overseeing access controls, and coordinating with first responders. Utilizing strong communication skills, you’ll provide daily operational support and improve security processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor security systems including CCTV and alarms
• Identify security threats and implement response strategies
• Conduct regular security patrols of the facility
• Maintain access control and manage documentation
• Assist with daily operations and service tracking
Requirements:
• High school diploma is a must
• 1–3 years of security-related experience preferred
• Valid BC Security Worker License is beneficial
• Knowledge of CCTV and life safety regulations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
