VTT Campus Security Officer

Position: VTT Campus Security Officer Role
Protect and secure the Vancouver Talmud Torah environment as a Campus Security Officer. This full-time position requires active patrolling and responding to security needs effectively.

Join the Security Department at VTT, where you'll report to the Head of Security and play a key role in community safety. The Campus Security Officer will perform foot patrols, monitor security systems, and document incidents. Strong communication and a proactive approach to safety are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain safety through regular campus patrols

• Respond to emergencies, alarms, and safety incidents

• Conduct investigations based on reported concerns

• Ensure secure access to buildings and facilities

• Provide first aid and assist in emergency situations

Requirements:

• Basic Security Training (BST) Level 1 qualification

• Proficiency in security technology and communication skills

• Background check required prior to employment

• Preferred: CPR and AED certification

• Preferred:
Advanced Security Training (AST)
