Security Officer at Sutton Place Hotel

Become a Security Officer with Northland Properties at The Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver. Ensure guest safety and respond to emergencies in this dynamic position.

This role reports to the Director of Security and collaborates closely with the Front Office team. You will guarantee the safety and security of hotel guests and premises while acting as a member of the Emergency Response Team. Key responsibilities include conducting patrols, investigating incidents, and maintaining daily shift reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure overall safety for guests and hotel staff

• Respond to emergencies and provide First Aid and C.P.R.

• Conduct regular floor patrols and cash counts

• Investigate violations of law or hotel policy

• Maintain computer records of actions in Daily Shift Report

Requirements:

• 2 years experience in a security role required

• Basic Security Training certification essential

• Occupational First Aid Level 2 preferred

• Strong problem-solving and report writing skills

• Professional presentation and reliable work ethic
