Join YVR Fire & Rescue as a Fire Prevention Officer, enhancing fire safety across the airport and ensuring compliance. This full-time role focuses on inspections, risk assessments, and fire safety education.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain fire safety documentation and audit-ready inspection records
• Lead comprehensive inspections to identify hazards and verify compliance
• Respond to fire safety concerns through timely investigations
• Promote fire safety awareness via training and workshops
• Collaborate with agencies to resolve deficiencies and ensure safety
Requirements:
• 5 years in Fire Prevention roles with relevant experience
• Fire service certifications like NFPA 1030 and BC Fire Codes
• Valid BC Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract
• Strong technical knowledge of fire investigations and risk assessments
• Proven skills in communication and collaboration under pressure
