Part-Time Corporate Security Guard

Join Garda World as a Corporate Security Guard in Vancouver, British Columbia, ensuring safety and security for employees and visitors. Deliver excellent customer service while managing access and responding to incidents each overnight shift.

In this part-time role, working Monday and Tuesday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, you will be the first point of contact for visitors. Key skills required include access control, CCTV monitoring, and effective incident response. With a focus on professionalism and vigilance, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a welcoming workplace and mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and check visitor identification

• Manage access control at the facility

• Conduct foot patrols for potential risks

• Inspect security equipment; report maintenance needs

• Write incident reports and relay security concerns

Requirements:

• Authorized to work in Canada

• Valid BC Security License

• Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract

• OFA 1 First Aid Certification required

• Minimum 6 months corporate security experience
