Full-Time Health & Safety Manager

Take the lead in health and safety at Fairmont Waterfront, a top-ranked hotel in Vancouver. This full-time contract role focuses on creating safe environments and enhancing security practices.

As the Health & Safety Manager, you will oversee all safety and security operations within the hotel. Your mission is to ensure the well-being of guests, staff, and visitors while promoting a culture of safety. Develop procedures, provide training, and lead emergency management efforts to protect everyone on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage hotel health, safety, and security protocols

• Develop and implement safe-working practices

• Conduct safety audits and training sessions

• Oversee emergency response and evacuation procedures

• Collaborate with external safety agencies

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years in health and safety management

• Valid BC Security Worker License required

• Certification in Occupational First Aid level II

• Proficiency in security systems and Microsoft Office

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
