Security Compliance Officer

Position: Security Compliance Officer at YVR
Elevate aviation safety as a Security Compliance Officer at YVR, where overseeing security plans and stakeholder communication are key. Ensure passenger security and compliance at our bustling airport.

In this role, you will lead the administration of security measures while actively engaging with various stakeholders, including project managers and Transport Canada. Your expertise will ensure robust adherence to aviation regulations and the successful implementation of security audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review work with stakeholders and provide guidance

• Write and administer comprehensive security plans

• Keep Operations team updated on security protocols

• Maintain and administer the Aviation Security PSL Audit

• Act as the primary contact for plan changes

Requirements:

• Minimum five years’ experience in airport settings

• Deep knowledge of CASRs and aviation legislation

• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
