Provide a professional and welcoming security presence at exclusive events and private functionsControl access by verifying credentials and authorizing entry into secure areasWelcome guests while delivering exceptional customer serviceMonitor attendees and event activity to identify potential safety or security concernsAssist with VIP arrivals and departures while maintaining a discreet and professional presenceMaintain orderly crowd movement and support event operationsConduct patrols of assigned areas and monitor restricted spacesRespond calmly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or disruptive behaviourComplete accurate reports and communicate observations to supervisorsWork closely with event organizers, venue staff, and emergency responders when requiredMaintain strict confidentiality regarding all assignments and guestsQualifications for High Profile Event Security Guard:
Valid BC Security Worker LicenceValid Class 5 Driver's LicenceClean Driver's AbstractMinimum 10 years of residency in CanadaEligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Secret Security ClearanceBasic First Aid certification or higherExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong professionalism and customer service abilitiesAbility to remain calm, confident, and composed in fast-paced environmentsFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shiftsSSVAN
