In this role, you will set and continuously improve health and safety policies while partnering with executive leadership. Your experience will guide multiple sites in risk management practices and enhance their safety culture. The position entails supporting programs related to underground mining safety, critical risk management, and ensuring compliance with safety audits through regular travel and on-site engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead health and safety strategy improvements at all sites
• Provide expert advisory support and governance across operations
• Foster a strong safety culture with site leadership
• Support audits and incident investigations thoroughly
• Engage with teams through regular travel to mining sites
Requirements:
• 12-15 years of progressive mining safety experience
• Proven senior leadership and safety oversight capacity
• Expertise in developing safety management systems
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
• Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) preferred
