Part-Time Surveillance Operator CMI Security

Become a key player at CMI Concierge & Security as a Part-Time Surveillance & Monitoring Station Operator in Burquitlam. This role involves monitoring alarms and dispatching mobile security, working weekend graveyard shifts.

CMI Concierge & Security needs a part-time operator to respond to video and alarm signals. Operating on weekends from midnight to 8 am, you will handle emergency calls and dispatch security personnel throughout the Greater Vancouver region. You’ll be a crucial part of a collaborative team, dedicated to problem-solving and delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor live crime incidents via video surveillance

• Dispatch mobile patrol or 9-1-1 responders as needed

• Handle incoming and outgoing client calls

• Analyze information and guide clients on inquiries

• Maintain accurate records of incidents and actions taken

Requirements:

• Valid BC Security License required

• Ability to remain alert during shifts

• Proficient with surveillance and Microsoft Office tools

• Strong communication skills in writing and verbally

• Previous experience in alarm monitoring is a plus
