Campus Security Officer

Position: Campus Security Officer - Full-Time Role
Join Garda World as a Campus Security Officer, dedicated to ensuring safety and security on campus in British Columbia. This full-time role emphasizes vigilance, proactive patrols, and outstanding customer service.

You will work a stable schedule of 32 hours weekly from Saturday to Tuesday. Your responsibilities will include responding to incidents, monitoring activities, and assisting with First Aid (OFA
2). As a trusted member of the community, your efforts will foster a welcoming and protected environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regularly patrol both the interior and exterior of the campus

• Monitor for security breaches and safety hazards

• Respond promptly to all incidents and alarms

• Provide First Aid when necessary and document findings

• Enforce site policies and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

• Hold a valid BC security worker license

• Must have OFA 2 First Aid certification

• Excellent communication and report writing abilities

• Physically competent to patrol and respond to emergencies
