Government Site Security Guard

Secure a role with Commissionaires BC as a Security Guard at a Government facility in Vancouver. Ideal candidates will exhibit strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.

This part-time position operates Monday through Friday, covering evening shifts from 5 PM to 5 AM. You will focus on access control, escort duties, and ensuring safety compliance on site. A Secret Clearance is needed along with a valid BC Security License to perform effectively in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor access control protocols for the facility

• Escort individuals while ensuring their safety

• Maintain visual contact with escorted persons

• Verify entrants’ Temporary Passes systematically

• Report incidents and maintain safety standards

Requirements:

• Hold a valid BC Security License

• Eligibility for Secret Clearance due to residency

• Certification in Basic First Aid/OFA 1

• Class 5 Driver’s License required

• Proficiency in English communication

Contribute to government security efforts while gaining valuable experience with Commissionaires BC.
