Join BGIS as a Fire Prevention Technician, focusing on fire safety compliance while engaging with building tenants. This full-time role is perfect for those passionate about fire protection standards.
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you’ll assess risks associated with fire safety regulations like NFC and NFPA. Through your expertise, you will conduct inspections, analyze fire alarm causes, and create detailed reports. Additionally, you will provide support in preparing emergency response plans and enhance communication between tenants and property management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct compliance inspections and create action plans
• Analyze alarms and liaise with stakeholders for solutions
• Facilitate tenant-related fire safety communications
• Design and implement training for fire safety measures
• Report critical incidents and manage nonconformities
Requirements:
• Degree in fire prevention or related field
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
• Fluent in French and English
• Good knowledge of fire prevention techniques
• Valid driver’s license required
