Position: Care Worker for Women's Recovery Services
Transform lives at UGM as a Care Worker focused on women's recovery services. This full-time role is about offering support, guidance, and compassionate care to women overcoming crises.

As part of the Sanctuary Stabilization Program, you'll collaborate with both participants and staff to address their emotional and physical needs. Your responsibilities will include providing practical assistance while fostering recovery-oriented relationships. This temporary role requires you to engage in shift work, including evenings and weekends, to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support recovery participants with life skills training

• Assist in daily routines and problem-solving activities

• Conduct screenings and maintain safety within the program

• Organize group activities and document progress

• Facilitate spiritual and emotional support sessions

Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience in related fields required

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license necessary

• Food Safe Certificate is essential

• Relevant post-secondary education required

• Crisis intervention training highly valued
