Senior Helpers is actively hiring Health Care Assistants for part-time roles. Candidates will assist seniors with daily living tasks and maintain their quality of life through attentive care and companionship. A compassionate demeanor and professional proficiency in Cantonese are vital for effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and personal care

• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping activities

• Monitor client health and report changes to the team

• Assist with mobility and safe patient transfers

• Provide support with medication administration

Requirements:

• Registration with BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry

• Completion of an accredited Health Care Assistant program

• One year of previous healthcare experience required

• Recent TB test and criminal record check

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings
