Maintenance Specialist/Property Caretaker

Are you a skilled and versatile maintenance specialist looking for a dynamic contract opportunity? We are seeking an individual with expertise in various maintenance disciplines, including painting, carpentry and drywall, minor electrical work, plumbing, and property maintenance. If you are reliable with a passion for ensuring the smooth operation of residential properties, we want to hear from you. This role is expected to be 30-40 hours per week.

• Painting:
  Execute high-quality paint jobs for both interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a polished and professional appearance.
• Carpentry and Drywall:
  Perform repairs and installations of carpentry and drywall elements, addressing issues such as cracks, holes, and general wear and tear.
• Minor Electrical Work:
  Troubleshoot and complete minor electrical repairs, including the installation and replacement of outlets, switches, and fixtures.
• Plumbing:
  Handle basic plumbing tasks, such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing faucets, to maintain optimal functionality.
• HVAC:
  Conduct routine maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
• General Maintenance:
  Respond promptly to maintenance requests and perform routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
• Property services:
  Provide basic property caretaker services as required including cleaning, organizing, raking leaves, clearing walkways, etc.

• Proven experience as a maintenance specialist or handyman, with a strong portfolio showcasing skills in painting, carpentry, drywall, electrical, and plumbing.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time to meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
• Applicants are expected to have their own tools.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.

• Day shift
• 30-40 hours weekly
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
