This auxiliary position involves providing crucial support to youth aged 13-24 at the Broadway Youth Resource Centre. You'll facilitate programs in a resource room, conduct outreach, and develop partnerships to enhance service access for youth. Your goal will be to foster a sense of belonging and connection among the participants while ensuring safety and health in the space.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead youth programs within the Resource Room
• Assist youth in connecting with services at PCRS and beyond
• Conduct outreach to encourage community engagement
• Provide basic needs support and relational case management
• Maintain a safe and welcoming culture in the Resource Room
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field
• 1 year experience with at-risk youth under 24
• Knowledge of local youth resources and mental health
• Certified in suicide intervention training
• Experience in program development and facilitation
