Within the Leadership Resiliency Program, your responsibilities will include collaborating with families, providing support, and conducting workshops that promote substance use awareness. You will assess community needs, coordinate relevant outreach approaches, and offer intervention counseling as necessary. Partnering with local schools will be essential in enhancing the program's effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead workshops for parents on youth substance use prevention
• Implement outreach initiatives to engage families
• Conduct assessments to identify community needs
• Provide brief counseling and support
• Work collaboratively with schools for better resources
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Two years of experience in a related role
• Knowledge of youth health and substance use issues
• Valid BC Driver’s License for travel purposes
• Demonstrated ability in engaging families effectively
