Empower youth in Vancouver as a Youth Worker with PCRS. Engage in outreach, support case management, and facilitate essential youth programming at the Broadway Youth Resource Centre.
In this auxiliary role, you will work collaboratively to support young individuals aged 13-24 in accessing vital services and achieving their goals. This position includes running programs, assisting with community connections, and providing a safe environment within the Resource Room. Your efforts will help build strong relationships and foster a sense of community belonging.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate youth programming tailored to participant needs
• Support connections between youth and available services
• Conduct outreach to help youth attend necessary appointments
• Manage basic needs and provide relational support
• Create a safe and supportive culture within the Resource Room
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or similar discipline
• Minimum 1 year experience with at-risk youth
• Understanding of harm reduction and mental health
• Certification in suicide intervention
• Experience in case management and program facilitation
