Drive social performance excellence with Skeena Gold + Silver Limited as a Social Performance Specialist.
Your role will champion community engagement and compliance within the mining industry in northwest British Columbia.
As part of Skeena's dedicated team, you will play a critical role in the operationalization of social management systems, ensuring adherence to provincial, federal, and Indigenous requirements. Your engagement with local communities and stakeholders will support meaningful relationships and effective communication. This position involves data analysis, regulatory monitoring, and project administration, all within a supportive and innovative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and track social management plans effectively
• Uphold compliance with Indigenous agreements and regulations
• Build relationships with community partners and stakeholders
• Coordinate ESG reporting and internal communication
• Track project progress against scopes and budgets
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in social performance or community relations
• Proven ability in compliance and management systems
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Strong attention to detail and documentation
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
