Nighttime Youth Worker – Safehouse

Position: Nighttime Youth Worker – Safehouse Setting
Become a vital part of our Safehouse team as a Nighttime Youth Worker. In this role, you will provide immediate support to youth in a secure environment, working evening shifts to facilitate positive changes.
Your responsibilities will include helping youth aged 16-18 with essential needs while fostering a supportive atmosphere focused on their well-being and growth. You'll work alongside a dedicated team to engage them in achieving their personal goals and provide crucial emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate support to youth needing safe housing

• Collaborate with a partner to ensure responsive care

• Empower youth through goal-directed service planning

• Maintain order and safety within the Safehouse environment

• Connect youth to necessary community resources
Requirements:

• Diploma in a human or social services field

• 1 year of relevant experience dealing with youth issues

• Knowledge of mental health and homelessness resources

• Ability to manage conflicts calmly and effectively

• First Aid and Crisis Intervention certification preferred
