Become an Articling Student at West Coast LEAF and contribute to gender justice initiatives in Vancouver, BC. This full-time position offers invaluable experience in feminist legal advocacy.

This one-year term role within a collaborative environment focuses on dismantling gender-based discrimination. You will work on real legal projects, including test case litigation and public education programming. Your passion for social justice will drive your participation as you work alongside seasoned professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and prepare analytical memoranda

• Draft submissions, legal documents, and applications

• Plan and perform community-based research and outreach

• Develop educational resources for public legal understanding

• Facilitate community dialogues and workshops effectively

Requirements:

• Demonstrated commitment to gender equality and justice

• Strong legal writing and research skills

• Experience in community engagement and facilitation

• Ability to navigate multiple tasks with clarity

• Familiarity with laws impacting marginalized communities
