Join PLEA Community Services' Vancouver Coastal Youth Services - Onyx team as a Regular Full-Time Youth Development Worker. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in social sciences and one year of relevant experience with high-risk youth. This position focuses on immediate support, including health services, detox assistance, and one-to-one interventions to facilitate successful exits from exploitative situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop relationships to support youth's emotional and practical needs

• Plan and implement safety-focused interventions

• Collaborate with families and informal support systems

• Facilitate access to community resources and services

• Assist youth in achieving goals identified in Youth Agreements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or related field

• One year experience with high-risk youth

• Valid Basic First Aid certificate

• Criminal Record Clearance required

• Must have access to a personal vehicle
