The Salvation Army seeks qualified individuals for an ongoing recruitment of Residential Support Workers. This role empowers individuals navigating homelessness by providing supervision and support to foster personal growth and stability. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support resident activities during assigned shifts

• Answer inquiries and assist residents in emergency situations

• Conduct safety and wellness checks regularly

• Maintain accurate records and assist with intake and departures

• Research resources to enhance residents' stability and growth

Requirements:

• High school diploma required; relevant post-secondary education is a plus

• Minimum 10 months’ experience in supportive housing

• Must possess or be willing to obtain crisis intervention certification

• Strong organizational skills and ability to de-escalate crisis situations

• Clearance under the Criminal Record Review Act required
