Tenant Support Worker

Become a Tenant Support Worker with Lookout Housing and Health Society in Vancouver, BC. This temporary part-time position focuses on supporting residents, enhancing their independence and stability.

As a Tenant Support Worker, you will report to the Site Manager and help residents through support services, assessments, and training.

Your role involves developing service plans, conducting tenant intakes, and ensuring basic needs are met. Collaboration with volunteers is essential, and some external work may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in tenant assessments and intakes on-site

• Develop individualized service plans and crisis interventions

• Ensure residents' basic needs are continuously met

• Maintain relevant paperwork and statistical data

• Supervise volunteers and support practicum students

Requirements:

• Diploma in Community Social Service required

• Class 5 BC Driver's License desirable

• 2 years of recent, related experience needed

• OFA 1 First Aid Certificate required

• Criminal Record Clearance for the Vulnerable Sector
