In this casual position with Vancouver Coastal Health, you will directly impact the lives of individuals at risk for HIV/AIDS.
Your role will focus on assessments, harm-reduction education, and liaising with community organizations to facilitate access to care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive health care assessments and interventions
• Provide ongoing support and test result interpretation
• Educate clients on STI and HIV prevention measures
• Collaborate with community partners for effective outreach
• Engage in educational workshops tailored for at-risk groups
Requirements:
• Current Registered Nurse credential with BCCNM
• Minimum 2 years experience in community or Indigenous settings
• Certification in Reproductive Health (STIs)
• BC driver’s license and accessible vehicle
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and harm-reduction practices
