The Developmental Disabilities Association seeks a dedicated Community Support Worker for a permanent full-time role. This position focuses on empowering participants to achieve personal goals while working in community and on-site programs. Key skills include leading person-centered programs and supporting daily living activities effectively. You'll play a crucial role in enhancing participants' quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create inclusive environments for program participants
• Support individuals with activities of daily living
• Implement and monitor individualized goal plans
• Lead engaging programs for diverse abilities
• Provide outreach services in the community
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in relevant fields
• 1-2 years experience in similar settings
• Knowledge of client-centered program facilitation
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and good driving record
• Certification in First Aid/CPR
Support individuals with developmental disabilities and help them thrive through community engagement and meaningful activities.
