Empower adults in need as a Tenant Support Worker with Lookout Housing and Health Society. This full-time position focuses on support services, assessments, and fostering tenant independence.
As a Tenant Support Worker, you will report to the Site Manager and engage directly with residents. Your key role will include conducting tenant intakes, developing service plans, and providing support tailored to individual needs. This position relies on excellent communication, organizational abilities, and ongoing collaboration with volunteers and students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct tenant intakes and assessments for support services
• Develop personalized service plans and crisis intervention strategies
• Ensure basic needs are consistently met through ongoing support
• Maintain records and complete required documentation
• Collaborate with volunteers and practicum students on site
Requirements:
• Related Diploma or Certificate, or Grade 12 plus 2 years experience
• Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certificate
• Familiarity with community resources for addiction and mental health
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Criminal Record Clearance for the Vulnerable Sector
