Empower individuals in their job journey as a Vocational Employment Counsellor with Coast Foundation. Focus on developing plans for volunteering and employment while supporting mental wellness.
As a key member of the Employment Services Division, you will coordinate the Clubhouse vocational program, training and supervising designated units.
Your role involves creating and implementing individualized vocational plans, consultative support, and identifying employment barriers to enhance client mobilization into job placements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support members in developing volunteering participation plans
• Maintain day-to-day Clubhouse program operations
• Implement vocational action plans and goal setting
• Facilitate placement of clients in transitional Employment Programs
• Build relationships with community networks for better client access
Requirements:
• Diploma in Community Social Service or equivalent experience
• Two years of relevant employment/vocational counseling experience
• Class 5 driver's license and vehicle access
• Certification in First Aid, CPR, WHMIS, and Food Safe
• Criminal Record Clearance upon hiring
Foster goal-oriented participation and readiness for employment through effective counselling and support for club members.
