Position: Full-Time Outreach Worker
Make a difference as a Homelessness Outreach Worker with BC Housing in Vancouver, BC. This full-time role focuses on supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and navigating essential resources.

The position is part of BC Housing, a key player in providing subsidized housing solutions. As an Outreach Worker, you will engage with individuals at risk of homelessness, ensuring they access the support they need. This involves working with various stakeholders to create a network of services that attendees can use effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Connect with individuals experiencing homelessness in community locations

• Assist clients in navigating housing and support systems

• Collaborate with shelters and service agencies

• Support communities in minimizing and resolving encampments

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary regional response team

Requirements:

• High school diploma with relevant post-secondary education

• Experience working with homeless and marginalized individuals

• Knowledge of crisis management and de-escalation techniques

• Proficient with MS Office applications

• Valid Class 5 BC driver's license and access to a vehicle
