Position: Social Worker for Brain Injury Unit
Join Vancouver Coastal Health as a Social Worker in the Acquired Brain Injury Inpatient Unit. Provide essential support through assessments and counselling services to clients and families.

This role requires advanced clinical skills and current registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers. As part of a dedicated team, you will conduct social and psychosocial assessments and facilitate care while maintaining client records. You will engage in interdisciplinary conferences and connect clients with community resources, ensuring comprehensive care throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments of clients

• Provide individual and group counselling services

• Maintain accurate client and case documentation

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal care

• Connect clients to relevant community resources

Requirements:

• Current registration with BCCSW

• Master's degree in Social Work with health care experience

• Strong knowledge of social work systems and methodologies

• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals

• Proven skills in group dynamics and conflict resolution
