Recreational Program Worker Position

Become a vital part of client well-being as a Recreational Program Worker. Drive social, life skills, and recreational activities to enhance the lives of clients in this full-time role.

Under the direction of the Site Supervisor, you will implement and adapt activities to meet clients’ diverse needs. This role demands strong engagement with clients, helping with daily living tasks and promoting participation in enriching activities. Your contributions will enable clients to thrive socially and emotionally while fostering effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement engaging activation and life skills activities

• Accompany clients on outings and appointments

• Assist with daily living tasks like grooming and transfers

• Maintain activity supplies and document participation

• Provide direction to volunteers during activities

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent education

• Two years of related experience preferred

• Current First Aid and CPR certification

• Class 4 Driver's License required

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients
