As a full-time Social Work Assistant, you will support social workers by facilitating the needs of children and youth in care. Your responsibilities will include supervising access visits, coordinating transportation, and assisting in the development of individual living plans. Your direct engagement with families will help foster a supportive and culturally aligned environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct assistance to social workers
• Support youth in care through various services
• Supervise access visits to ensure safety
• Assist with case management documentation
• Facilitate interaction with clients and families
Requirements:
• BSW or BA in a related human service field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with children and youth
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
• Requirement to join the union
